If you would like to direct a financial gift to the Chefs4Students Culinary Grant and Scholarship Program, please use the Yampa Valley Community Foundation GIFT INSTRUCTION FORM. Chefs4Students.org utilizes the Yampa Valley Community Foundation to independently oversee the financial aspects of this non-profit fund. Your contribution is tax deductible. Sponsor a Chefs4Students Culinary Fund Raiser!By sponsoring a Chefs4Students Culinary Fund Raiser in your area, you will help us raise funds for the Chefs4Students Culinary Grant and Scholarship Program. You will also generate positive and lasting publicity for your restaurant in a respectable way. If you are interested, please contact Chef David Nelson using the Contact Us Page on this website for further details.
To be considered eligible for a Chefs4Students Culinary Grant/Scholarship, you must be currently attending in good standing at an accredited Culinary Arts School or Institute in the United States or abroad six weeks prior to any given grant disbursements. This time period allows us the needed time to confirm your enrollment. U.S. citizenship is not a requirement. Applicants should have a strong academic record, good character references and demonstrate financial need. Only completed applications will be considered. Chefs4Students.org will not notify you of your status unless you are a recipient of a grant. If you wish notification of receipt by Chefs4Students of your application, please use your U.S. Postal Service's Return Receipt Service. Do not send your applications by email.

We have FOUR very simple Requirements:
- Complete this GRANT/SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM along with a 500 minimum word essay.
Application Deadlines: Applications must be postmarked by February 15th for the annual April 1st disbursements or August 15th for the October 1st disbursements if those are possible.
- Prove to us a strong academic record, financial need and authorize us to verify your information.
- We encourage you to introduce yourself in the Chefs4Students Forums prior to the date the grants are awarded. This presents an opportunity for our panel of reviewers get to know you better. This is not mandatory.
- You must be attending an accredited Culinary Arts School or Institute for at least six weeks prior to the time of the award.
Following a financial review by Chefs4Students Administrators, participating Chefs4Students.org chefs, industry experts, educators and approved forum members will read your essay and letters of recommendation. Grant recipients are selected by a majority blind vote of the participating panel. Our past Grant Recipients.
NOTE: Grants will be paid directly to the accredited culinary school you are attending to be applied against your tuition. The culinary school can be located in any country and US citizenship is not a requirement.
WAside from the grants that will b available in April of 2013, we project the availability of more grants this October, 2013. Deadline for those applications is August 15th, 2013.
